The Welling and Crossley P8750RCD is an AVR (Automatic Voltage Regulated) generator with E-start. Supplied with a transport kit (handles and wheels), this generator is Euro 5 emissions compliant. The generously sized 25L fuel tank and economical motor allow for longer run times. Equipped with a built-in RCD (Residual Current Device), the P8750RCD provides an added layer of electrical safety by automatically disconnecting the power supply in the event of a fault or leakage current, protecting users from electric shock and equipment damage. The WC-P8750RCD packs a lot of power in a compact footprint, combining reliability, efficiency, and safety for demanding worksite or backup power applications.
Features - RCD (Residual Current Device):
An RCD is a safety device that quickly cuts off the power supply if it detects an imbalance between live and neutral currents - which can indicate a leakage current through a person or a fault in the circuit. This helps to prevent electric shocks.
AVR (Automatic Voltage Regulator):
An AVR stabilises the output voltage of a generator, preventing fluctuations that can damage electronic equipment. It ensures a steady and consistent voltage level, enhancing the safety and reliability of the generator.
2-Wire Start:
This feature allows the generator to be started remotely from the closing of a remote contact. This could be an automatic transfer switch (ATS) in the event of a power failure, a float switch or any device that can provide a closed circuit as a start signal
